Introduction

As a first year teacher, I have decided to document my experiences - Good & Bad:

I completed my Master's Degree in Literacy Education this summer, and was hired to teach 1st grade in a community near my current town.
I am very excited and honored to start this new chapter of my life.
For privacy and confidential purposes, I will not use the name of the school or any individual students throughout this blog.

I want to create a memory book of my first year of teaching - so, here goes!
